with The AirHead installed.

The diagram shows the complete installation of an Aer-Max system when it's installed with the Airhead.  No wiring is required for the Airhead and there is no connection to the water line.

The Airhead turns on the air pump and opens the Maxi-Vent for tank ventilation when pressure within the aeration tank drops to a point selected by the installer.

The Airhead is a patented pressure-monitoring system specifically made to work with aeration treatment devices
like the Aer-Max system.

Airhead requires no wiring. It plugs into any standard 115-volt outlet. Unlike flow switches, it requires no insertion into the water line. Installation requires only the connection of a single 3/8" tube between the Airhead and the Aer-Max pump. It supplies fresh air to the aeration tank when a drop in pressure indicates a need, and it does not run the pump when it isn't necessary.

Setting it up requires only a simple pressure adjustment to match your well pump's cut-in pressure. The system comes with its own pressure gauge installed, which makes monitoring and setup a snap.

A great advantage of the Airhead is that it has no connection with the water line. It is, therefore, not subject deterioration due to iron or hardness. It saves money by allowing you to purchase the less expensive 115-Volt Aer-Max model.

Aer-Max and Airhead together add up to an easy installation and trouble-free performance.
